Chair Yoga & Slow Flow Yoga

Exercise Classes

Chair Yoga (either seated or using the chair for stability in standing postures) is a great way to keep the body mobile and find focus without the “up and down to the floor” of more traditional yoga classes.

Slow Flow Yoga is a mat-based practice of slow and steady movements.

In both classes the emphasis is on moving in a way that suits your body. With lots of clear and detailed guidance, options are provided so you can find the most effective variation of a posture to improve your strength and flexibility whilst helping to calm your mind.

Pre-School Music

Age-specific music classes catering for babies, toddlers and pre-school children aged from 3 months to 4 years. Each small, 30-minute class is highly interactive.  Led by a specialist teacher your child will learn to make music on percussion instruments and catchy songs, games and dances.

Songs on Wheels

Choral Group

Songs on Wheels is a small group of choral singers. We travel to local care homes, day centres and clubs for older people or those with physical or mental disabilities to share the enjoyment of singing old songs.  Before each tour we meet in Avenue Hall to practise up a new programme, drink tea and eat cake.
